Terms of Service

Last updated 28 September 2026

This page is a working draft. Before filmised takes money from anybody outside a test, the operator’s legal name, address and VAT or OIB number belong in the section below, and the whole thing should be read by somebody who does this for a living.

Who you are dealing with

filmised is operated by [legal name], [address], registered under [OIB / company number]. Questions, complaints and notices go to support@filmised.com, and we answer them ourselves.

What the service is

An account lets you record what you watch, rate and review it, keep lists and follow other members. The catalogue is built from data provided by TMDB. We do not host, stream or sell films or television, and nothing here is a licence to watch anything.

Your account

You need to be 16 or older, the details you give us have to be true, and the account is yours to look after — what happens under it is treated as done by you. One person, one account. We can suspend or close an account that is used to harass people, to post unlawful material, or to get around a suspension.

What you post

Reviews, lists, names and pictures stay yours. By posting them you give us permission to show them on the site and in links to it — nothing more, and it ends when you delete them or close your account. Do not post anything unlawful, anything that is not yours to post, or anything aimed at a person rather than at a film.

Memberships and payment

Pro and Ultra are subscriptions, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown on the membership page at the moment you subscribe. Prices include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see your card. A subscription renews by itself at the end of each period until you cancel it, and you can cancel at any time from Settings — the membership then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and stops. We do not refund part of a period.

If we change a price, it applies to your next renewal and not to the period you are in, and we will tell you before it does.

The fourteen-day right to withdraw

Buying a digital service online in the EU normally comes with fourteen days to change your mind. A membership starts working the moment it is paid for, so at checkout you ask us to begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose that right once we have — the law allows exactly that, and it is why the membership works straight away rather than a fortnight later.

If you would rather keep the right, do not subscribe and write to us instead; we will arrange it by hand. Nothing here affects your rights if the service is faulty.

Things we do not promise

The site is offered as it is. Ratings, artwork, cast lists and availability come from TMDB and from JustWatch through them, and can be wrong or out of date — check before you rely on any of it, especially on where something can be watched. We do our best to keep the site up and we do not guarantee it.

Ending it

You can delete your account from Settings whenever you like. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless the law stops us. If we close the site altogether, we will give notice and refund the unused part of any subscription.

Law and disputes

Croatian law applies, and nothing in that takes away the protections your own country gives you as a consumer. Talk to us first — most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather fix it than argue about it. If that fails, the European Commission runs an online dispute platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes

When these terms change we will post the new ones here with a new date, and tell members by email if the change matters. Carrying on using the site after that is how you accept them.
